TBC are amazing at helping me to promote my business quickly and simply - they posted a photo of our giant gnomes, and we'd sold out by the end of the day - thanks TBC

Our Story

With over 34 years experience in marketing, market research, advertising, TV and banking Sue Wybrow launched her own business, Popdance World, in 2009

She soon realised that you need support when running a business and that you just can’t, and shouldn’t, do everything yourself. The Businesses Community (aka St Albans Businesses) has played a key role in the people that she’s met, the business she has developed and the support and camaraderie she’s gained over the years.

So much so, that in 2021 Sue joined forces with John Acton of DPI Europe and Peer2Peer who has enjoyed over 30 years’ experience of working in senior leadership roles within global organisations.

Together, with the TBC Team and TBC members, we are all here to support and help your business – whether you are a start up, or a large multi-million pound business.

We’ve since grown two further communities in Enfield and across Bedfordshire, with growing communities in Welwyn & Hatfield and Milton Keynes – so we had to re-address the company name. That’s when we became The Businesses Community – but some people still refer to us as St Albans Businesses

Being part of the TBC Community connects us with thousands of like-minded people in the area; fellow business owners, prospective suppliers, potential clients. The combination of the online community, offline events and now the St Albans News Round Up gives us three ways to get in touch, and, more importantly, stay in touch within the local neighbourhood
