I would like to invite you to the St Albans District Business Summit on Wednesday 11th November 2020 from 5pm to 6:30pm.
St Albans City & District Council is hosting the event online via Microsoft Teams.
- Jim McManus, Hertfordshire’s Director of Public Health, will be updating the meeting on the local impact of COVID-19. He will also take questions.
- Councillor Mandy McNeil, Portfolio Holder for Business, Tourism and Culture, will outline the work of the Council to support businesses in response to COVID-19.
- Alison Berneye, Chair of St Albans BID and St Albans Visitor Partnership will give an update on actions to showcase the City & District during and beyond the pandemic. Plus plans to market St Albans District internationally as a heritage destination in the aftermath of COVID-19 and how businesses can participate
- Speakers from St Albans District Chamber of Commerce, the Federation of Small Businesses, Hertfordshire Growth Hub and Better Business for All.
- Representatives from The Maltings and Christopher Place shopping centres will give an update on local retail issues.
