On the 5th March, team TBC got flipping in the St Albans Annual Shrove Tuesday event, the Pancake Race.
This fantastic event is in aid of Home-Start Herts; a family support charity, providing practical support to local families with young children. The pancake race has raised almost £2,000 since 2017.
The race brought the competitors as well as the supportive crowds and it was an atmosphere of excitement and community!
Team TBC, comprising of Denise Lochery of Jasmine Jewellery, Jo Jackson-Hale of Hays Travel, Karen Francis of LifeWorks and a brand new TBC member who threw herself in at the deep end, Annie Griggs of Annie Griggs Photography, entered the walking race.
The Team had to flip their pancakes both down the track and back.
“It was a great opportunity to work on those flipping skills for family pancake-making later” says one of the team members.
Alas, the team did not make it to the semi-finals but they has such fun being involved in such a noteworthy event! And they were hot off the press!
