Team Wagada limber up for St Albans Half Marathon to raise funds for Abbeyfield
Eleven members of St Albans based digital marketing agency Wagada have teamed up to enter the St Albans Half Marathon on Sunday 9th June 2019.
The Wagada team aims to fundraise over £1,000 for housing and elderly care charity Abbeyfield which has its headquarters in St Albans.

Cheryl Luzet, Managing Director, Wagada, said:
“We are delighted to be entering a Wagada team to the St Albans Half Marathon to raise much needed funds for local housing and elderly care charity Abbeyfield. From 5k to the Half Marathon itself, our people will be stepping up to the mark and their serious training starts now!”
The funds raised by the Wagada team will go towards a brand-new sensory room for residents living with dementia at Abbeyfield’s Cunningham House in Essex. The state-of-the-art space is designed to gently stimulate the senses and improve residents’ sense of wellbeing.
Maxie Sweeting, senior care assistant at the house, said: “We’re incredibly grateful to the all the staff at Wagada for supporting us. The money raised will bring so much joy to our residents and make a huge impact to their quality of life.”
