St Albans Museum and Art Gallery – The Perfect Venue

 

 

 

Located in the heart of St Albans, this beautiful building has soooooooo much to offer everyone! From visitors to St Albans, to residents. With ever changing exhibitions, there’s always so much to see, but did you know that there’s more to the Museum than the wonderful exhibits?

 

Richard, Paloma and the Team welcome everyone to use the amazing Courtroom not just for delicious coffee, lunches and sumptuous cakes but they also invite you to hot-desk, co-work and have meetings there. There’s plenty of plug sockets, free wi-fi and the segmented sections of the courtroom give you a bit of privacy too! Enjoy the buzzy atmosphere and get tons done in a fantastic place to work.

 

And did you know that you can hire the Courtroom for lots of different events. From networking group meet ups, to awards nights, to Weddings, to birthdays, anniversary parties, and it’s also a fantastic venue for celebration of life gatherings. Seating 60 comfortably and 100 standing – it’s quirky, different, stunning and steeped in history.

 

And, did you know that if you book the Courtroom before the end of June, for any event before the end of September, the venue hire is absolutely free! Richard and the team can provide all manner of refreshments, from fizz to canape´s, to coffees and choccies, to gorgeous lunches and dinners, to cakes and buns, to delicious desserts!

 

Plus, they have the gorgeous Assembly Room upstairs with stunning Georgian architectural flourishes, ornate chandeliers and lustrous gold leaf when you step inside. It’s the perfect setting for your wedding, celebration or corporate event.

 

And you do not want to miss out on visiting the toilets! Yes, the toilets! Go past the first set of toilets when you walk into the museum, and go down the stairs to visit the toilets located in the old cells! Take a look at the markings on the doors and imagine what it would have been like to be locked in there! Make sure the lock is working on the loo you use!
