From breakfasts of sausage, bacon or mushroom baps, to a selection of mini danishes, accompanied by coffee, tea, hot chocolate or a soft drink, it’s perfect if you are out walking with or without your dog in our gorgeous grounds.
And if you are feeling peckish at lunchtime – they’ve got light lunches of soup of the day, sandwiches and portions of fries, right through to main meat or vegan meals made freshly every day by their chefs using local, sustainable produce.
Rothamsted Restaurant is open from 9am-3pm Monday to Friday, with lunch served from 12-2pm and they have extensive social distancing and safety measures in place to protect their customers and their staff.
Access the restaurant from the side-door – there’s plenty of signage to show you where and also to ensure 2m separation. Follow a one-way system with hand sanitiser stations in place and perspex screens at their barista station and all payments are now contactless.
