Fashion and Fundraising in aid of Herts Rape Crisis
Fashion and fundraising is an important part of “Lou Murphy Styles” ethos and the most recent fashion sale in January 2022 raised an incredible £510 for Herts Area Rape Crisis and Sexual Abuse Centre.
It was a simple fundraising strategy: ladies shop, seek some styling advice from Lou, make some purchases and a donation is made to charity!
“I’m blown away and very grateful to all my customers who shopped with me during January. We have raised £510 for Herts Rape Crisis and I know they will hugely value this funding. I am thrilled that we were able to raise so much!”, said a delighted Lou Murphy.
During 2001, Lou raised over £1,300 for four charities including two local charities Herts Rape Crisis and Home-Start Herts. Lou plans to continue her fashion & fundraising efforts throughout 2022 and is interested in working with anyone who wishes to raise funds for their chosen charity.

Note: Herts Rape Crisis provides a free and confidential service to women aged 18 and over who live in Hertfordshire and have been raped or sexually abused or assaulted at any time in their lives. The charity also supports families and friends who are supporting survivors of sexual violence.
