Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce have launched the Entrepreneur Foundation, designed to nurture and grow a new network of enterprising individuals; offering a two-year initiative of guidance, training and support, supplied by Founders, Supporters and by the Chamber itself.
Entrepreneurs are vital to business; individuals who have a vision, can inspire others to join them on their journey and drive the success of our local and national economy.
Hertfordshire Chamber recognises this need and is seeking to identify entrepreneurs who are passionate about their ideas; about turning their concepts into reality; and who have the energy to create new successful businesses.
This initiative is supported by HM Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire, Robert Voss CBE CstJ, who commented:
“It gives me great pleasure to give my wholehearted support to the Entrepreneur Foundation. I have always believed in the importance of encouraging entrepreneurs from a very early stage of the development of their business – and what better way to minimise the risks that they take than to be supported by experienced entrepreneurs who have themselves experienced the highs and lows of starting and running their own business.”
Chief Executive at Herts Chamber, Briege Leahy, is herself an experienced entrepreneur, having set up and run her own company, Luna Logistics, for 8 years prior to joining the Chamber. Briege has been instrumental in bringing this initiative to the market and commented:
“I am absolutely delighted to launch the Entrepreneur Foundation and the Chamber looks forward to working with our selected group of talented new entrepreneurs, offering them training, support and mentoring to help ensure their companies thrive and grow in this challenging environment.”
