ConnectHerts launched as part of the ‘Let’s Keep the Heart in Hertfordshire’ Campaign

Posted on by Sarah Castleman-Turner of Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce

Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce launched the ‘Let’s Keep the Heart in Hertfordshire’ campaign earlier this year, setting out a number of goals to highlight opportunities for Herts based businesses, and showcase that the county is open for enterprise and innovation.

In May, the Chamber were delighted to announce that the Hertfordshire Growth Board were to champion this campaign, sending out a very positive message of collaboration with public and private sector leaders working together to ‘build back better, post pandemic’.

Now the Chamber have now invited all members to join CONNECTS; an online business match-making platform, that allows businesses to connect with each other worldwide, creating global opportunities you can trust; providing instant access to trustworthy leads, potential customers, suppliers, skills and partnerships.

CONNECTS incorporates ‘Connect Herts’, a community within this platform, designed specifically to enable Chamber members to meet with other local companies online. This community allows Herts Chamber members to: make local connections, share best practice, facilitate introductions, find county-based contracts requiring suppliers, talent & services, and promote local opportunities to help ensure that we ‘Keep the Heart in Hertfordshire’.

Briege Leahy, Chief Executive of Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce said:

“We are so happy to launch the ConnectHerts platform as part of this campaign. We have had a lot of businesses show an interest in #KeepingtheHeartinHertfordshire and it is a delight to see, now with this new online community we have a way to facilitate introductions and keep promoting local opportunities for future economic growth in the county.”

Patsy Dell, Director, Hertfordshire Growth, Hertfordshire Growth Board: “It is really good to see this platform going live, enabling businesses to make valuable connections at such a critical time. Hertfordshire has solid foundations for growth thanks to its legacy of partnership working. With the public and private sectors working in tandem, we can help Hertfordshire Build Back Better post COVID-19 and beyond.”

Chamber members are invited to attend a webinar on 1st July, to learn how to best utilise this platform. Places can be registered here.
