Charity Support

Anne Swanston, local St Albans resident, really needs our help this festive season to raise money for Rennie Grove Hospice Care and also Crohn’s & Colitis UK.

Could you sponsor a table at the Ladies Charity Lunch at just £50? Or could you contribute something towards the mince pies and mulled wine at the Charity Carol Concert? All donations, no matter how small, are very much appreciated.
Anne says:

“I am holding two charity events this year which I really hope that you can get involved in helping me with. The first is in November and I am holding a Ladies Charity Lunch in aid of Rennie Grove Hospice Care and I am looking for business sponsors to sponsor a table for just £50:00 per table.

Rennie Grove are a charity that I and my family hold close to our hearts as they cared for my late husband and us as a family during his illness. Grahame vey sadly passed away in December 2020.

I am also holding a Charity Carol Concert in December in memory of my first husband Ian, who passed away in October 2002.  Ian suffered from Ulcerative Colitis and we have raised over £250,000 since then through various charity events for Crohn’s & Colitis UK. We are very lucky to have Carrie Grant, BAFTA award winning broadcaster as our guest speaker this year, Carrie is a Crohn’s patient herself.
