Here are five things you may not know about my business – written by Louise Brennan of Louise’s Antenatal Classes:
1.) I have been a qualified midwife for 18 years; the day I finished my training was April Fool’s Day! I promise I am a real midwife!
2.) All my classes and sessions come with free follow up; this means the couple can contact me for midwifery advice for as long as they need me.
3.) One of the props I use in my antenatal classes is a knitted boob!
4.) My birth reflections sessions are open to anyone who feels they need to talk about their birth experience. This includes partner’s and other family members who may feel traumatised by what happened. It doesn’t matter how long ago the birth was, if you need to talk, I am here for you.
5.) In the name of promoting my businesses and helping with charity I wrote my business story for a book (The Little Book of Amazing Businesses), posed for a ‘naked’ calendar and I was the ‘Santa’ in a Christmas video of Mariah Carey’s ‘All I want for Christmas’!
