5 Questions We Asked A St Albans Business – Tracy Ross – Blissfully Organised

Posted on

Here at The Businesses Community St Albans, we like to get to know the people behind the business and find out more about who they are and what they do.

Tracy Ross of Blissfully Organised took up the challenge of our “5 Questions We Asked A St Albans Business”

What made you start your own business?

Previously, I’d worked in marketing for 18 years in a fast paced media environment. I’d always wanted to work for myself to deliver a quality service that would be of value to my clients and I felt really passionate about it.

I am naturally organised and love supporting people so working as a Professional Organiser is perfect for me. I am interested in people and love mentoring. Blissfully Organised combines all the things I am passionate about and that my clients love and value.

What does your business offer its customers?

Blissfully Organised offers a confidential and non-judgemental service to support clients to declutter and organise their space, make better use of the space that they have and set up easy to manage systems to maintain control.

I support my clients on their organisational journey however short or long. I take them from feeling overwhelmed to having a clear path to achieve their goals, by providing emotional support, practical help and the motivation required.

What kind of customers are you looking for?

I am looking for clients who are feeling overwhelmed in their space and want to make some positive changes to save time, save money and reduce stress levels.

Are there any types of businesses you’d like to collaborate with?

I have collaborated with a number of businesses which is mutually beneficial to both our clients. I am always happy to write guest blogs for other businesses, share information and values with my clients and collaborate on new initiatives.

I am currently collaborating with another Professional Organiser to run a local workshop offering practical tips and sharing our experience that has worked with our clients.

What’s the toughest part of running your own business?

I think it’s getting a balance between all the demands on your time. This requires careful time management.

What piece of advice could you give to another business owner?

Do something that you feel passionate about. Know your strengths. Don’t be frightened to ask for support or help when needed so that you can spend more time on your business.

Let’s Keep Organising!
