Popdance started purely by accident - it was never set out to be a business.
I'd just had my second child and wanted a bit of "me" time - to get active through learning dance routines to pop music from the 80s, 90s and 00s.
There wasn't anything out there that catered for what I was after, so working with amazing dance teachers we launched our first class for family and friends here in St Albans.
9 years later and we continue to work with incredibly talented dance teachers, now across the world to help them to run Popdance classes, parties and workshops for people of all ages.
So whether you are 2 or 102, are a fabulous dancer or have two left feet, we invite you to dance with us.
It's been an incredible 9 years so far, including the launch of Popdance Kids, Popdance Tots, Popdance Seniors, Popdance Active and Able and of course Popdance parties (did you know we also danced my street with Arlene Philips?)
So if you fancy "putting a ring on it", or "getting ready to rhumble" or learning a fantastic routine to classics such as Thriller - then check us out.
And, if you know incredibly talented dance teachers across the globe, point them our way as we've got tons of demand for Popdance and can help dance teachers to set up their own Popdance business too! Yay!
I'm also author of "101 Marketing Tips for Dance Teachers" - available on Amazon
See you on the dance floor!
