Diversity and Inclusion Summit
February 25 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am£35
The impact of Diversity and Inclusion to your bottom line
This is the sixth event in a series of online Summits that the Herts Chamber have created, designed to focus on key industries and strategies within Hertfordshire and provide a platform for sharing information, ideas and latest thinking.
We are delighted to have René Carayol, World Leading Executive Coach, carayol.com as our keynote speaker for this Summit on Diversity and Inclusion.
Inclusive Leadership: Everybody In – Nobody Out
Our world has changed and we need a different and more inclusive and empathetic form of leadership for these extraordinary times. Many businesses have made meaningful statements and declarations of intent about Black Lives Matter. But now comes the real challenge – the actual changes.
We all need someone to believe in and something to belong to. We must try and create an environment where difference is both respected and valued, and encourage different approaches that when all added together can create vibrant and innovative teams.
He speaks with the authority and confidence of the expert practitioner who has seen and experienced it all before. René draws much from his own unique experiences as managing director at IPC Magazines and serving on a variety of boards including Pepsi, IPC Media and the Inland Revenue.
René has acquired a reputation for providing first hand advice and support for a series of successful CEOs in the Fortune 500, FTSE 100 and all around the world. Many may claim to have worked at the ‘sharp end’ with many CEOs, but in actual fact very few have. He has worked closely with Jim Yong Kim – President of The World Bank, Antony Jenkins – CEO Barclays Bank, Mario Greco – CEO Generali and Maria Ramos – CEO Absa Bank, and hardly any can match his sustained track record of success.
René will demonstrate through a series of unforgettable stories how some of the world’s most progressive companies and leaders have adapted to this volatile world. No one who attends will leave without their approach to leadership having been enhanced forever.
The keynote presentation will be followed by an interactive panel session, in which the subject will be discussed in more depth. The panellists for this event include:
- Claire Howard, Planner, Jarvis Contracting Limited
- Celeste Igolen-Robinson, Senior HR Manager, Employee Relations, Policy & Inclusion, Hertfordshire County Council
- Mohammed Ilyas, Head of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, University of Hertfordshire
